The power plant needed to upgrade their existing fly ash storage / disposal process due to wear and tear and excessive corrective maintenance. It was decided that the existing pipes would be replaced with concrete pipes and ceramic-lined ones as they reduce friction. The above model and drawings were drawn up and sent to the custom pipe manufacturers as part of the commissioning process. New pipes were made to order and installed as per the above model.
